Group Exercise Classes
Our small Group exercise classes offer people the chance to train and exercise with likeminded people. Group training classes provide a fun environment with everyone striving to reach the same goal of getting fit, whilst still receiving coaching specific to you when needed. Our classes have social, physical and psychological benefits, with group exercise offering people the chance to mix up their normal routine with something a little different
Below are the following exercise classes we do at the Fitness Room Sheffield.
Total Energy is a High Intensity Functional Training class. It is designed to help you lose weight, burn fat and stay in shape. The class lasts 45 minutes. The high intensity interval training (HIIT) has been scientifically proven to get you fit quicker and faster than standard cardio, plus it boosts your metabolism so you keep burning fat long after the workout has finished.
Total Energy classes combine bodyweight exercises such as plank, lunges, squats, press ups, renegade rows, burpee, mountain climbers etc.. with functional training equipment like kettlebells, TRX, dumbbells, slam balls and much more.
This class is suitable for all levels of fitness and a great starting place for your fitness journey.
MaxV – Strength Endurance Training
MaxV is a strength and conditioning exercise class designed to improve strength and endurance. Key weightlifting, powerlifting and strong man exercises are used in giants sets to develop strength endurance.
Who’s it for? Ideal for serious and casual sports participants who want to improve their performance. If you like lifting weights but don’t like cardio this is also a great conditioning class to burn fat and maintain muscle.
When? Monday 5.15-5.45 & Wednesday 6pm – 6.45pm

A 30 minute high intensity workout combining bodyweight, Kettle Bells and TRX exercises. This early morning workout is designed to boost your metabolism and kick start your day the right way.
HIIT Elite is suitable for all fitness levels and perfect for busy professionals who want to stay fit and healthy.
THE DRILL – CALISTHENIC HIIT
Get in shape and burn fat fast with The Drill. Bodyweight drills and exercises will tone and condition you in quick time. A 30 minute fitness class using sport themed exercise drills. Do away with the treadmill and have fun when you train.
Who’s it for? Suitable for all fitness abilities. Ideal for fat burning and toning. Great for anyone who wants to train with friends or partners.
When? Tuesday 6.15pm – 6.45pm & Thurdsay 7am – 7.30am

Are you sick of pounding the treadmill? If the answer is yes Cyclone Cardio is right for you. Send your cardio through the roof with our unique cardio circuit. Maximise your time and effort!
Cyclone cardio is suitable for all levels of fitness.
POWER PILATES & PILATES
A low impact class that will help improve flexibility and mobility as well as tone and strengthen core muscles as well as the whole body. Power Pilates is the ideal compliment to any sport or fitness plan. A combination of mobility, flexibility and strengthening.

SANDBAGS & KETTLE BELLS – 30 MINUTE CLASS
A High Intensity, Kettle bell and Sandbag Class that will get you lean and mean! Train for power, speed and strength and get in shape.
BOX FIT – NEW FOR 2017
Train like a PRO! Boxing skills, drills, bags, pads and high intensity bodyweight circuit. This is more than just a boxercise class, you will learn skills and get in shape.
CHILD FRIENDLY CLASSES (TOTAL ENERGY)
If you struggle to find time to train due to childcare issues we have 4 classes a week where children are welcome! Suitable for either parent/ carer to attend. We set up a play area within the room for your little one to have plenty of stimulated time whilst you workout! If your child is a little older they are welcome to work out with you free of charge.
